Application Deadline:  February 1 for Autumn Semester ; June 1 for Spring Semester

Program Description:  For international students who want to do their practice in Bodø. Since many institutions have very specific requirements, we work with each individual student and placement organization to meet the requirements and accommodate student wishes.

English-speaking students have done placements at the refugee office and refugee placement office.  Nordplus students have done placements at places such as Bodø Ungdomshjem and Kriminalsorg i frihet.  Students also may have the possibility to work at orphanages, youth institutions, mental institutions, social security office and with child welfare, depending upon organizational needs at the time.  Contact us and we’ll find one that is right for you!

Program Length: Can vary depending on home institution requirements, but a typical placement lasts approximately 20 weeks. 
Working Language: English or Scandinavian languages
Working Hours: Students are expected to have the same working hours as staff, but one day each week is reserved for studying.
