THE FACULTY OF BUSINESS, SOCIAL SCIENCES AND FOREIGN LANGUAGES The Faculty of Business, Social Sciences and Foreign Languages at Østfold University College is situated in Halden. We have about 750 students and a staff of about 45 people. The small size of our faculty contributes to a friendly atmosphere, and a close relationship between staff and students built on mutual trust and respect. Our faculty members are highly qualified and also highly international – one third are non-Norwegian. Our research and development work forms the basis for all our study programmes.
