The Faculty of Computer Sciences
Bachelor's degree programme
Foreign undergraduate students that are doing a 1- or 2-semester work placement as part of their B.Sc. in Computer Science, Informatics or Information Technology, are offered to spend their placement period at the Faculty of Information Technology in Halden. We offer advanced programming and design projects that are closely related to the Faculty's research and development activities, with members of our own scientific staff as supervisors. Some projects will also be done in collaboration with regional high-tech companies like the Institute for Energy Technology and the Halden Reactor Project. Master's degree programme
The Faculty of Computer Sciences also offers a number of modules taught in English in its two-year master's degree programme. There are four specialisations in the programme:
- Intelligent systems
- Safety-critical programmable systems
- Environmental information technology
- Design of digital environments

The Faculty of Engineering offers English-taught modules in the third year of the programme Entrepreneurship, Technology and Inovation. Duration: two semesters, beginning in August and comprising a supervised degree project in cooperation with local industry and business.
