The Norgrid Linux Cluster

Norgrid (norgrid.hpc.ntnu.no) is a Linux Cluster running the Rocks Linux Cluster Distribution.

It is located in Lerkendalsbygget at Gløshaugen, and is maintained and administered by ITEA's HPC group.

NOTE: The cluster is still under construction. It is not yet open for general usage, and you will thus not be able to log in at the moment.

The cluster is currently being rebuilt with a new front-end node. The compute nodes nodes will be gradually migrated over to the new front-end from the old norgrid-cluster. Further details about the machines, network topology etc. will be announced as the (re)construction is finalised.

In the mean time, we have posted some informational material from the old norgrid cluster which still remains valid - but look for updates as the new cluster is opened for general usage.
