Accommodation
Participants are expected to book their own accommodation. For this purpose we have reserved a number of hotel rooms in the time period June 17th to June 22. These are available on a first-come first-serve basis. All hotels are within walking distance of the conference. For their exact location see this map.

When reserving a room you must mention that you are attending PARA2000 in order to get the below mentioned rates. If not you will most likely be told that there are no available rooms. These reservations and rates are good until May 18th. If you have not reserved a room by then you are on your own... It should be noted that Bergen is a very popular tourist town with June being the most popular month. To make matters worse Bergen is "Cultural city of Europe" this year. Hotel bookings are already reported to be 20-30% above last year. You should therefore expect it to be very difficult to get a room on your own after May 18th. So please make your reservation in good time!
