Under the guidance of teacher students from the media studies course at Bergen University College, the primary school students created weblogs using the weblog tool elogg, containing self-produced videos in the tradition of digital storytelling, and text/still images. The primary school students, aged 10-12, worked in groups from three to six, with one teacher student per group.
The weblogs were tied to either the natural science or history parts of their curriculum, with themes spanning from for example "trade and culture in medieval Bergen" and "emmigration routes of the vikings" to "marine life on the near coastline". The primary school students created their own video footage at Bergen Aquarium, Bergen Nautical Museum and Bergen Museum.
