The Searchers is an applied research project that consists of a critical reading of a canonical American western, John Ford's 1956 "The Searchers". The essay will consist of a combination of still images and video extracts and will attempt to analyse the film through the contextual collage og relevant images and sequences. The Searchers is part of the MATs research program.
