Digital media and technologies are increasingly being taken up in research processes and methods, as well as in online research publications. The WIKI-D project investigates modes of mediating research outcomes through wiki-based discourse.
This site for the WIKI-D project has two modes: a relational mode (Flash generated rendering of wiki entries) and a linear mode (regular wiki entries). Both of these are built in the wiki tool Confluence. The site is an instance of experimental digital research rhetoric.
The site includes an electronic research article about WIKI-D. It's entitled 'WIKI-D DISCOURSE: fuzzy problems in digital research rhetoric'. The article will be submitted to a refereed online journal.
Researchers in the KIM programme can Enter and Edit project material in either of these modes. Visitors can also comment in both modes.
Log in for KIM researchers is shown in the menu, top right.
