Research interests
Randi Næs is a senior advisor in the research department of Norges Bank. Næs obtained her PhD at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in 2004. She has been with the research department since 1997.
Næs' research interests lie in the field of asset management. More specifically, market microstructure, corporate finance, and asset pricing. Her current research focuses on (i) the costs of trading equity, (ii) the characteristics and trading strategies of investors in limit order driven equity markets, (iii) the relation between market liquidity and owner structure, and (iv) strategic asset allocation for long term investors.
