Bank holidays 2008
Banks in Norway are closed on the following days:

In addition, Norwegian banks, with few exceptions, are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
With effect from 2002, the two Norwegian banking associations and Norges Bank (the Central Bank of Norway) have agreed that 24 December (Christmas Eve) will no longer be a settlement day for Norwegian kroner (NOK), and that no inter-bank payments will take place.
The hours in which banks are open for business with the public will not be affected by the change.
