We have introduced the concept of theory-assisted x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy to the study of free neutral atomic and molecular clusters.

We explore bonding mechanisms and the local and global structure of molecular clusters, i.e. aggregates consisting of discrete molecules and held together by regular intermolecular interactions.
