International Student Orientation Week

Orientation Week for the spring semester 2008 will be from Wednesday 16 to Friday 18 January. Be aware that the academic semester will start one week prior to the Orientation Week and that students therefore should be present in Stavanger by 7 January.

It is recommendable that the students plan their arrival in Stavanger between 4-6 January.

The University will organise a pick-up service from the airport/train station and to the University dorms within a designated time periode which is to be confirmed. Please check this webpage for regular updates.

Username and password
During Orientation week, you will be issued with your username and password which will give you access to the university network and other datasystems we are using. At the same time, you will recieve a user guide for IT services with information about loginn, it's:learning, StudentWeb, as well as rules about how the university network should be used. The University relies on two main applications that secure communication between students and institution. These are StudentWeb and the e-learning system it´s:learning.
