The Nordplus Programme
Cathrine Strømø
Why and how do you become a Nordplus student? If you wish to study at a university in a Nordic country, it is usually a good idea to travel through the Nordplus programme. Here are some of the advantages: You get a Nordplus scholarship of ca. NOK 7000 each term. You do not have to pay any student fee at the host university. The host university will help you in finding accommodation.
You apply for study place and Norplus scholarship through an application form from the Student Information Centre (SIT). The Nordplus network covers all subject areas in
NOVA University, but it is also possible to travel as a “free mover” to other Nordic universities.
A stay abroad through the Nordplus programme must last for minimum one and maximum twelve months. If you are studying for a whole year, the year must start in the autumn term. You can find more information and detailed regulations and routines for the Nordplus programme on
NOVA University.
1 March is the closing date for applications for Nordplus and Erasmus scholarships. You will get an answer from SIT in the Economy Building regardless of the application result!
