How do you apply?
Cathrine Strømø
The process leading to a study period abroad varies according to the type of exchange agreement and which university you choose. Your department/programme of study will be able to supply you with the necessary information about the possibilities in your subject area.
The contact persons can help you in the application process, but it is advisable to find out as much as possible beforehand. Consider what you want to study and where you want to go. It is easier to get help if you know what information you need. You can learn more about the exchange agreements and application process by consulting the web pages about Erasmus, Nordplus and bilateral agreements.
Note the following minimum requirements to all agreements:
You must have passed exams corresponding to one whole year of study before you travel.
You must be a registered student and pay semester fees at UMB while you are abroad.
The period of study must last at least three months, but the recommended period is one or two semesters.
Your study abroad must be approved as part of your degree at UMB. Therefore, you need prior approval for your planned study before you travel.
