No prior knowledge of French required.
Objectives:
The students will acquire basic knowledge of French pronounciation, grammar and vocabulary

Grammar
Training in communication skills
Texts content from French-speaking cultural area
Instruction:
Individual and group exercises, with special focus on oral training
Mandatory Assignments:
4 compulsory written assignments to be approved.
75% attendance in class.
Evaluation:
3 hours written examination
Relevant, printed dictionaries (French-Norwegian, Norwegian-French, French-French) are allowed used on the examination, but must be free of remarks and personal notes.
