Visa regulations and residence permits
Students from Nordic countries can study and work in Norway
Students from EU/EEA member states, staying for more than three months, do not need a visa, but are required to apply for a residence permit from the Norwegian Police.
Students from other countries need a visa and/or residence permit before they leave their home country. Students are advised to contact the nearest Norwegian Embassy or Consulate General for information on procedures.
