Outdoor Education

This programme is aimed at teaching in day nurseries and primary and lower secondary schools. The programme combines arts and crafts, science and physical education, and integrates subjects such as Norwegian, mathematics and, where applicable, social studies. What particularly distinguishes this programme is the use of nature, the countryside and culture as an arena for learning. In this context, practical and aesthetic problems are of special significance. This programme may be combined with the 30-credit Outdoor Activity Studies and may be taken as part of continuing education.
