Information on investments abroad for the financial year 2013

Who needs to report?

Norwegian enterprises (Norwegian investors) with a minimum direct investment of 20 per cent in a foreign enterprise shall report. Information shall be provided for each single foreign enterprise with such investments and for all underlying foreign enterprises in the same company group ( see example figure ). The questionnaire applies to the financial year 2013. In cases where the enterprise uses divergent accounting principles, the most recently submitted annual account statement from 2013 shall be used.

The information is to be reported electronically in a form made up of several pages:

• Page one (Info) provides information about the report
• Page two (Help) contains an illustration showing which enterprises need to report
• Page three (Country) contains a list of country codes
• Page four (Industry) contains a list of industry codes
• The actual report appears in page five; Company 1; Company 2

 

Several Norwegian investors may be reported in a single form, but each investor (Company 1, Company 2 etc.) must be given a separate page. The foreign enterprises with a Norwegian investor are filled in line by line going downwards on the page.

Some of the information is only to be given for subsidiaries ( see guidance ).

Reporting system

The form shall be sent as an attachment via Altinn under RA-0638.
