  Information on investments abroad for the financial year 2013

  The purpose of the questionnaire is to obtain information on "Norwegian companies’ foreign direct investment abroad" and "Norwegian-controlled companies’ activity abroad" (Foreign Affiliates Statistics). The questionnaire is used as a basis for mandatory reports to international organisations including Eurostat, OECD and the IMF.

  Reporting accounts for Norwegian branches of foreign insurance companies

  Reporting period: annually

  All foreign insurance companies with branches in Norway are obligated to report their annual accounts to Statistics Norway. Companies that already report by the Norwegian reporting system FORT, are excepted. The reporting only covers the insurance companies' activity in Norway

  Reporting balance of payments data (BoP reporting)

  Reporting period: annually / quarterly / monthly

  This survey covers data on foreign assets and liabilities among other things. The data should be sent to us electronically, either in an electronic form or as a flat file. Some respondents must submit data every quarter, and a higher number will submit data once a year. A small number of companies will also have to submit data on foreign liabilities once a month.

  The surveys cover data on imports and exports of services. The purpose of the surveys is to collect data to analyze Norwegian enterprises' economic relations with other countries.
