Pryme Group
Pryme, Stern and co-workers at UniTargetingResearch AS are studying the optimisation of mRNA targeting elements (signal sequence, and 3´and 5´untranslated regions) with the goal of considerably improving production of medically relevant proteins (e.g. monoclonal antibodies, EPO, endostatin) in cultured transfected mammalian cells, and also in vivo.
It is envisaged that the knowledge gained can be used to develop new forms of treatment e.g. in neurological and psychiatric disorders
