Placement of the literature

Most books and hard copy periodicals are on display, and can be freely accessed.

The books are sorted by subject, i.e. books concerning the same discipline are placed next to each other. The books need to be registered before they are removed from the library. The lending period is usually 4 weeks.

The periodicals are sorted alphabetically by the name of the periodical. Periodicals are not available for lending, however articles may be copied at the library.

Electronic journals and periodicals are available visa the UoB network, Haukeland University Hospital.
