Accessing Mac-formatted disks on Windows computers
I have a few Windows computers, and sometimes I need to access data from my mac-formated disks (and iPod) when I'm using them. With MacDrive I can connect these (USB/FireWire) disks directly to my Winddows computer (including my mac-formated iPod). Also nice if your mac had a disk crash and the only copy of your music library is on your iPod: install MacDrive and iPodRip (and iTunes) on your Windows computer, connect your iPod, and use iPodRip to copy your music and your playlist to iTunes on the Windows computer. MacDrive is not free, but I guess I will spend the $50 when my evaluation copy expires in a few days.
