About IMT
The activities at the Faculty of Computer Science and Media Technology (IMT) are focused on fields in modern computer-, communication- and media-technology.
These are fields where progress is made quickly, where computer-science together with radio and television, printed and web-based media is evolving into an integrated digital information industry. In these fields IMT is a strong participant in study-, research- and mediation-cases.
The study programmes
In addition to one year study programmes IMT has studies at bachelor-level in Engineering in Computer Science, Information Security, Digital Media Technology, Media Design and Media Management. At the master-level there are studies in the fields of Media Technology and Information Security.
The studies demands both commitment and work form the students, and also the employees competence and service-mentality.
Research and mediation
The last years IMT has increased the efforts at research, and today the institute has a strong technical environment who are working to establish PhD studies within a planned inland university. Research and mediation is especially concentrated around Media Technology and Information Security, and is closely connected to the two existing master studies.
