The International Advisory Council Meeting 2006

Workshops, lectures and networking for invited FK partners

The International Advisory Council Meeting 2006 (IACM 2006) is conducted in connection with The FK North-South Forum 2006, and is the most important meeting point in the FK network. The formal IACM 2006 will, as in 2004, be conducted with its proper formalities according to the bye-laws of FK Norway.

 

The IACM 2006 will keep the thematic focus of The FK North-South Forum 2006, but will also focus on the primary values and philosophy of FK Norway. The invited partners will be presented with the views of the board and the International Advisory Committee.

 

The lecture series will give the participants the opportunity to get professional input. Four high profiled Norwegian and international speakers are invited to the IACM 2006 to give lectures related to partnerships in international development. 

 

IACM 2006 will aim at giving the partners and FK opportunities for sharing and networking as a tool for future improved collaboration and feedback to the FK board.

Through workshops, the partners of FK Norway will be able to meet to exchange views by sharing best practises on exchange projects and partnerships, and give advice to the FK board and administration.

 

The Fast Track Meeting will be an organised networking event where partner representatives will be meeting each other in groups and on a one to one basis. In these bussiness meetings the partner representatives will be able to make new contacts and discuss common challenges.

 

This will be an important networking event, where the delegates will meet many other delegates with the same and different challenges and experiences as themselves. The atmosphere at this networking event should be conducive to raising spirits and the mood to an even higher level among the partners of FK.
