EQUIS accreditation

EQUIS logo NHH sets out to be one of the leading research and educational institutions for economics and business administration in Europe, and sets out to recruit only the best students. EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation reinforces a strongly held belief that excellence in research is a prerequisite for excellence in teaching.

The EQUIS is an international system of quality assessment, improvement and accreditation for higher education institutions in management and business administration. The fundamental objective is to raise the standard of management education, and so far over 73 school worldwide have been accredited. EQUIS facilitates standard setting, benchmarking, mutual learning, and the dissemination across borders of good practice. NHH was awarded EQUIS accreditation in 2001, and this was renewed in 2006.

EQUIS is run by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), the largest International network association in the field of management development. The network covers over 500 institutional members and reaches over 12,000 management development professionals from academia, business, public service and consultancy in 65 countries across the globe.
