The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Higher Education (SIU) is the Norwegian National Agency (NA) for EU's programme for lifelong learning (LLP).
We offer partner search facilities and a full overview of LLP projects with Norwegian participation. SIU hosts two European databases developed on behalf of the European Commission: ISOC, the "Interactive Socrates Projects Database," which contains descriptions and results from all Socrates/ODL/MINERVA projects. This database is to be updated and developed during the last six months of 2002. IRIS, the "Integrated Reporting for International Students" database, presenting student reports from Erasmus students all over Europe, was launched in the autumn of 2002. If you are looking for a partner for future co-operation, we advice you to take advantage of the Norwegian partner search database. To access these databases use the appropriate links on the left hand side of this page.
Most of the NA's information on Socrates is aimed at Norwegian institutions and scholars, and is therefore in Norwegian. Foreign guests are kindly referred to the web-pages of the European Commission, DGEAC, Directorate-General Education and Culture, for English language information on LLP.
Project coordinators are encouraged to visit the web-site of the Socrates & Youth Technical Assistance Office (TAO).
