Registration with the policeForeign nationals and accompanying family members who have applied for a residence/work permit through a Norwegian foreign service mission (embassy, general consulate, consulate) must register in person at the local police station within seven days of arriving in Norway. Bring with you your passport and the letter of invitation/appointment from your host department at UiB. Foreigners residing in Bergen must register at Bergen Politikammer.
