BIO-3117, Botanical Excursion for Graduate Students

Work Load 10  credits (ECTS)

Contents The course demonstrates flora, vegetation and ecological conditions in an area outside the North Norwegian region. The study area is selected according to special knowledge by the responsible teacher or co-operative partners. The course focuses on phytogeography and ecological adaptations and can involve visits at other institutions. The course is reserved for master students at the study programs Botanical Biodiversity and Environmental Botany/Palaeoecology.

Form of teaching Lectures 15 h, Field excursion 8-10 days, incl. report.

Assessment Approved participation at the excursion and approved excursion report. Grading form: Approved/not approved.
