The subject consists of projects with signals and sensor technology as themes. Every project starts with a brief introduction to basic theory, but most of the time the students shall work in groups with the projects. After completing this course, the students shall have basic understanding of some types of sensors, data logging, analyzing and visualization of data by means of the computer language Matlab.
There will be projects from laser optics, microwave technique, ultrasound, signal- and image processing, radar, sonar, acoustics, antenna technique and digital communication.
