The National University Committee for Development Studies

A national university committee for development studies has been established in order to secure compatibility, flow and quality in development studies in Norway. The establishment of this committee has its background in the increasing interest for development studies, and therefore the need to maintain quality assurance in the study options. The European Association for Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI) has framed definitions, goals and learning objectives that the Norwegian National University Committee for Development Studies follow. At the present the committee is
working to get an updated overview of development related studies in Norway.
