Financing

Travel: 
Fellows will be paid a return travel (both ways) restricted to economy
class air and rail fare.

Subsistence:
Fellows will receive 1200 Euro/month (gross amount) in subsistence allowance.
In certain cases tax should be paid from this amount, but it depends on the duration of the stay and the tax agreement between Norway and home country of the applicant. An employer contribution of 14.1% is also deducted from those who have to pay tax.

It is important that the selected fellow is covered by a social security scheme. If the fellow is covered by such a scheme in his/her home country, we need an E-111 or E-128 form from the authorities in the home country proving this status.

The university has housing facilities at student dormitories which cost approx. 250 Euro per month. We can help visiting students reserve a room there, if they wish.
