Cerebrum facilitates the use of one and only one password to access all the systems in an organisation, and coordinates other data elements needed across platforms/systems by automatized importing/exporting information throughout the information system of an organization. In addition, information in Cerebrum is organized in a way that accomodates single-place updating of data, which ultimately provides higher reliability, better security and information quality for the systems in use within the organization. The primary function of Cerebrum is user administration; creation, maintenance and deletion of user accounts. Cerebrum intends to act as a synchronization point for the information registered in the different authoritative registries used by the organization. Cerebrum has modules for updating authentication systems like NIS and AD. Contact InformationUSIT (University Center for Information Technology)
