The first year of the MSc programme in information security is made up of seven core modules; three technical modules, three management modules and a reserach course. These seven modules form a foundation to build the further specialisation upon.
The first semester of the second year is made up of three optional modules. The last semester is fully dedicated to the thesis work.
Part time students will be able to schedule the modules independently over a maximum of five years, assuming that all prerequisites are met. In periods with several part time students it is possible to offer further optional modules in the spring semester to avoid delays in the studies. Look at the part-time course map towards the bottom of this page for an overview over our recommendations regarding course scheduling (part-time three years).
