Bodø Buddy
Every fall when the new school year begins, Bodø University College has a welcoming program that helps the new students to get to know the city and the school.  "Fadderordningen" lasts for two or three weeks and during this time you will get to know a lot of new people, both other new students like you, and quite a few of the older ones.  The older students work as a “fadder”.  Your "fadder" is your personal guide that helps you get to know the school, the staff and the routines and the people of Bodø University College.

All new students are put in to different groups of about 10 –15 persons. For each group there are some “fadders” to take care of you and to show you around.  They arrange different kinds of activities for their group like parties, sightseeing, and getting to know other students and the city.  There are also several get-togethers for both the entire student body, and just for the students in your department.

If you participate during the first weeks, you will see that you have made several new friends that possibly will last for the rest of your life.

New international students will be given more information upon arrival.
