Division of Biophysics and Medical Technology
Head of Division: Tore Lindmo
The research is divided in four main activities within biophysics and medical technology:
- Biopolymers
Biological polyelectrolyte complexes and interactions.
- Medical technology
Transport of macromolecules in tumour tissue. Functional optical coherence tomography (OCT).
- Bio-systems
Various studies, including biophysics of plants, photosyntesis, space-related research, biophysics of vision, and electromagnetic field exposure.
- Bio-nanotechnology
Nanotechnology related to explotation of biological material, bio-inspired nanostructured materials.
