Confirmation of Student Status
If you need a progress report or a confirmation that you are a student for a residence permit, authorities in home country or another reason, you may order a Confirmation of Student Status. The confirmation will include your study period, student category, faculty at the University of Bergen and other information that you may specify.
We have two different online forms for ordering a Confirmation of Student Status:
1: Confirmation of Student Status for Exchange and Guest students
- Exchange (Erasmus, Nordplus, EEA, Bilateral, Science without Borders)
- Guest students (Including SIU semester stipend, Fulbright, Kulturavtalen NFR/Ruhrgas)
The confirmation letter will be issued within 7 days and sent to the e-mail address listed in the form.
2: Confirmation of Student Status (see categories below)
Students must order their confirmation/study progress reports online well in advance. The report will be issued and sent to the student by post within two weeks. Please note that it might take additional time during holidays or busy periods. Please observe deadlines!!
The progress report/confirmation of student status for visa renewal will be issued after all exams for the semesterare registered in our system.
Please note that confirmations will not be issued during July due to summer holidays.
