BIO-3112, Northern Geobotany

10 credits (ECTS) | Contents
The lectures deal with the main features of historical and floristic plant geography and vegetation, with emphasis on northern Norway and northern Fennoscandia. The course is based on the contents of BIO-2105. Field training: c.4 days along a plant geographical transect, with visits to selected sites of vegetation-historical documentation.

Teaching autumn 2005
Første oppmøte er 17.8.2005 kl 1015 rom 3111 Naturfagbygget, og dette er obligatorisk. Ekskursjon fra 22.-26. august. Det forventes at studentene innehar kunnskaper tilsvarende Bio-2105 Nordlig karplanteflora og vegetasjon, og i tvilstilfeller kan det bli nødvendig med en liten opptaksprøve.
