Two
bubble column reactor facilities comprising a plastic
column 30 cm ID and 4.25 m tall, and a 50 cm ID, 4.5 m
tall stainless steel column, both used to study local
flow structures, hydrodynamics, mixing, temperature and
pressure gradients, heat transfer to internal and
external cooling/heating surfaces, bubble coalescence
and break-up in reactive and non-reactive chemical
systems.
