| Fluidized bed reactors |
| A
fluidized bed facility comprising three columns (15 cm,
30 cm and 50 cm ID, 4.5 m tall) with a cyclone separator
to enable recycling of the particle phase, used to study
local particle velocities, particle concentrations,
bubble fraction, bubble frequency and bubble rise
velocities in gas-particle systems up to about 200 C and
1m/s superficial gas velocity.
