Using Runge-Kutta with variable timesteps to solve the timedependent Schrödinger equation on parallel computers

The time dependent Schrödinger equation can be written as a set of ODE's. To solve the set of ODE's you need an ODE solver. Since the system can be quite large, we have developed a solver for parallel computers based on PETSc. The example codes require PETSc 2.1.6 to be installed on the computer. PETSc 2.1.6 is installed on parallab, and you must follow the local PETSc instructions to make it work.
