is to build on recent advances in grid technology and develop a service
grid infrastructure in Europe which is available to scientists 24 hours
a day.
- HPC-EUROPA - Pan-European Research Infrastructure on High Performance Computing. HPC-EUROPA is an
EU-funded I3 project with networking, research, and transnational
access activities. The transnational access programme provides grants to European researchers for visits upto three months at one of six
large HPC centres with some of the most powerful supercomputing facilities in Europe.
- NDGF - Nordic Data Grid Facility.
NDGF's aim is to coordinate the national grid activities in the
four Nordic countries.
- NorGrid - Norwegian Grid project. The national project to build competence on grid technologies for the
HPC community.
- NOTUR - Norwegian high performance computing consortium. The national HPC infrastructure project.
- WUN - World University Network.
