Norsk »UiS has also established several bilateral exchange agreements with universities and colleges in both European and non-European countries. If your home institution has an agreement with UiS, you are welcome to apply as an exchange student.
UiS deadlines 2007
Application deadlines for exchange students:
Autumn semester 2007 (Aug.-Dec.): 1. May
Spring semester 2008 (Jan.-June): 1. November
The above dates are only addressed to EEA citizens that are going on a bilateral exchange agreement or other nationals of countries with which Norway have signed a visa waiver agreement (see www.udi.no). Students from other countries need a visa and/or residence permit before departure and should therefore apply 3 months earlier.
NOTE: Application as an exchange student must be submitted to the International Office of your home institution. For relevant deadlines, please refer to your home institution international coordinators.
The dates above also correspond to the application deadlines for students housing.
