Payment can be made on the Visa Portal using Visa, MasterCard, Diners, American Express, Switch, etc.

Case-processing times

The processing time depends on a number of factors. Some applications are considered uncomplicated and can be handled at the Norwegian Foreign Service Mission. Other applications have to be sent to the Directorate of Immigration in Norway for a decision. Certain Schengen procedures may also, in some cases, influence the processing time.

If you have used the Norwegian Visa Portal before, you can copy most information from earlier application to a new one:
Choose My visa application(s) from the left menu
Select the application you want to copy and choose Copy application

Visa applications for children or groups

If you are applying on behalf of a child or another person in your care, you need to register each child/applicant separately, with different usernames. You may use your own e-mail address as contact information for each application. Please specify the names of the family members or group member who apply together, under "additional information" in the application form.
