You are responsible regarding your own password using the Visa Portal. The Directorate of Immigration is not responsible if persons other than yourself get access to your password and your profile at the Visa Portal.
Cookies
In order to log on to the Visa Portal, your browser needs to be able to accept cookies. The Visa Portal only use session-cookies, that is; the cookie is deleted when you close your browser.
Encryption
Whenever this site requests personal information, it uses a protocol called HyperText Transport Protocol Secure (HTTPS), under which the data is encrypted before transmission from your browser to the Visa Portal. If your browser does not support this protocol, you will not be able to use the Visa Portal.
