Course Outline: Resource and Recycling Systems

Content:
The course provides advanced research training and improved understanding of sustainable resource management. Novel Material Flow Analysis methodology of linking geogenic and anthropogenic resource flows and stocks are used to identify future recycling potentials. The approach is exemplified in case studies (end-of-life vehicles and plastics; electronic scrap; building materials) taking into account sophisticated recycling technology, product quality control, and EU legislation.
