Content: This course introduces and details four key areas in sustainable production; cleaner production; process synthesis and optimisation; product development; and end-of-pipe technology, using the chemical process industry as an example. Techniques of waste, energy, and material minimisation are considered along with integrated pollution prevention and control. Methods of environmental management, accounting, financing and reporting are also detailed.
