Personal Number

Profile

The PBX Personal Number feature allows an unanswered call to be deflected to answering positions defined in the active profile until the call is either answered or ended. Each extension number can have a maximum of five profiles, and each profile can have up to 5 or 10 answering positions depending on the PBX version. Only one profile can be active at a time, and the system will dial the answering position in defined sequence, beginning with Choice1.

Clicking Profile on the ECA menu opens the Profile window. The Profile page lists your Personal Number profiles and provides the following controls.

 Inactive Profile

Indicates profile is not the active profile. Click to activate the profile.

 Active Profile

Indicates the active profile.

 Profile

This column contains the names of the profiles. Clicking on a profile link opens the Personal Number Choice window, where you can setup and edit profiles. If the profile is not defined in the PBX, only the number is displayed in the list.

Delete

If the profile is defined in the PBX, this button is displayed in the profile.
Click this icon to delete the selected profile from the PBX.

 Choice Columns

These columns contain the profile number choices. One profile can have up to ten numbers displayed on two pages. Use the Next or Previous button to access these pages.

Personal Number Profile Configuration

Clicking a Profile link opens the Personal Number Choice window. This window contains the following controls that enable you to setup, change, and delete personal number choices.

 Profile Name

Use this edit box to enter a name (up to 10 characters) to associate with your profile.

 Choice

The priority order of answering position.

Delete

If the answering position is defined, this button is displayed. Click this icon to delete the answering position from the PBX. If you delete the last choice, the profile will also be deleted.

 Number

Enter the phone number that the call will be deflected to.

 Ring for

Select the number of seconds (2 — 60) you want the answering position phone to ring before deflecting to the next choice order.

 Busy Goto

Select the choice number (2 — 10) that the call will be deflected to when the answering position is busy. The default is Finish Deflection, meaning the deflection process is stopped and caller will receive a busy tone. Choice number 11 means that the deflection process is stopped and the call will be rerouted (if defined).

 Use Once

Default is Yes, meaning the answering position will not be called again by another incoming call once it has received a call, until it is free. New incoming calls deflected to this answering position will be directly distributed to the next choice order in the active list regardless of the Busy Goto settings. Selecting No means the answering position is deflected to as many times as your number is called.

  Internal

Check to allow internal calls to be deflected to the answering position.

  Operator

Check to allow PBX Operator calls to be deflected to the answering position.

  Public

Check to allow Public calls to be deflected to the answering position.

 Short Message

The default, No, prevents answering position from receiving SMS messages. Select Yes to allow answering position to receive SMS messages. This option is not available for MD110 BC10.

 Set

Click this button to send the configuration to the PBX.

 Close

Click this button to close the window.
