A special guest edited issue of the new online journal IJEDICT - International Journal of Education and Development using ICT - is now available. Papers are selections form the innovative online conference e/merge hosted by CET at the University of Cape Town last summer. The conference has a specifically southern African focus. From InterMedia, Andrew Morrison contributed to the conference with a paper and online particiaption. In the current issue of IJEDICT he has a paper entitled ‘Border crossings and multimodal composition in the arts’. e/merge was established as a CET project and shows the growing professionalism of this fast emerging partner with which we co-design and co-research. Andrew’s paper is also an outcome of the MULTIMO project at InterMedia into multimodal discourse.
