Printing from private computers in at the campus

In order to add the campus printers you must first use VPN to connect to the university network.

1Push start, chose controlpanel and "Printers and faxes"

2Add printer

3Push "Next"

4Chose "A nettwork printer, or a printer attached to another computer"
Push "Next"

5Chose: "Connect to this printer" and write the following in the blank field:
\\student03.stud.umb.no\oceprinters
Push "Next"

6.In the pop-up box that appears you have to log in with
STUD\your username and your zone 1 password
Chose to remember the username and password, and press OK

7.Press "Yes" in the security notice that appears

8.Chose if you want to use this printers a the default printer.
Push "Next" and then "Finish"

9.Now log on to VPN and the printer is ready for use.
