Proposed guidelines for individual education plans at
Molde
University
College
for the academic year 2003/2004
1.
Beginning with the academic year 2003-2004, students who begin their studies for the Bachelors or Master's degree are obliged to commit to an individual education plan.
Beginning with the academic year 2003 all students who have already been admitted to a program of 60 credits or more also commit to a education plan.

The departements will arrange for all students to have a academic superviser.
The Student Office will receive the name of the academic superviserso that the academic superviser can be listed on the student's education plan.

The education plan will be made by the student.
The plan will automatically be approved, if the student has chosen a curriculum/study plan described in the Student Handbook.

If the student needs help, he/she should consult the academic superviser to discuss the plan.

If the student chooses a education plan that deviates from the standard curriculum/ education plan, the academic superviser is obliged to contact the student and give guidance regarding the plan.

The plan should be made early in the first semester of study.
The deadline for submission of the plan is 15 September and 15 February.

The student must consult with the academic superviser, if there is a need to change the education plan after the 15 September/15 February deadline.
The change must be submitted to the Student Office in writing and include the signature of both the academic superviser and the student.

The individual education plan can be changed at the beginning of each semester.
However, this can only be done with the consent of the academic superviser.
